Paul Pogba has been tipped to sign for a Club World Cup team before the tournament kicks off this month, having not played since his ban for doping.

Former Manchester City star Paul Dickov has tipped Pogba to sign for a team playing in the Club World Cup this month, claiming it would be a great platform for the former United midfielder to show he can still cut it at the highest level.

Pogba has not played professionally in almost two years due to a doping ban. He became available again in March and has been linked with a number of teams around the world, with the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer both touted as possible destinations for his return.

Dickov told bestbettingsites.com: "It's been slightly quiet on Paul recently, since his ban. But what I will say is that if Paul Pogba can get back to anywhere near his best, then the Club World Cup would be an unbelievable platform to go and show everybody what he's all about.
"His ability is there for everybody to see, and we all know it didn't happen at Manchester United for whatever reason, but there's no doubt there's always been a top player in there and he'll be desperate to get back on the football pitch just to be playing again."

Pogba was spotted at an Inter Miami game back in February, sparking rumours of a possible move to MLS, while Saudi Pro League teams have also been linked with the 32-year-old. Al-Hilal are Saudi's sole representatives for the Club World Cup this month, while Messi's Miami are also playing in the tournament.
