Diallo joined United in early 2021 for a fee that could rise to£37 million ($50m) with add-ons but since then he has made just 10 appearances for the club. The 21-year-old, who has had loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland in the past two seasons, has missed most of the 2023/24 campaign with a knee injury but return to action in the 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest on December 30 with a cameo at the City Ground. Now, manager Ten Hag has spoken about the youngster's qualities.

Diallo is one of the most expensive teenage signings of all time but the Red Devils are still waiting on a return on their considerable investment. The winger, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, only has 18 months left on his contract and he has been linked with Sunderland and Leicester City, along with fellow Championship side Birmingham City.
WHAT NEXT?
Diallo will hope for more game time for United, this time when they take on League One outfit Wigan Athletic on Monday night in round three of the FA Cup. It remains to be seen if the Ivory Coast international will still be with the Red Devils next month.
