It ended up being a fantastic day for the Ibrox outfit as St. Mirren picked up a surprise 2-1 win. The result means that the 54-time Scottish champions remain 23 points clear at the top of the table (BBC) – their first major trophy in 10 years is edging ever closer.
Andy Gray is a well-known Rangers supporter, and he was live on beIN Sports covering Everton vs Newcastle when the Celtic result came through. While the Toffees, for whom Gray used to play for, lost 2-0, he was delighted with the Bhoys’ struggles.
