Cristiano Ronaldo was once again asked for a selfie by a fan on the football pitch, this time during Portugal's 3-1 Nations League win over Poland.

Soon after Ronaldo put Portugal 2-0 up against Poland, a pitch invader sidled up to the Al-Nassr striker and requested a selfie. The 39-year-old appeared to tell the security team to politely back off so his picture could be taken, before the game resumed not long after.

While acts such as these should, arguably, not be encouraged, it meant little on the night as Portugal made it three wins from three in this year's competition with a 3-1 victory in Poland. Roberto Martinez's side could secure their spot in the Nations League quarter-finals if they beat Scotland this week coming.

Ronaldo has been accosted by a number of fans on the pitch asking for selfies this year while playing for Portugal. On one occasion during Euro 2024, he seemed to enjoy a particular instance but when it kept happening, the former Manchester United star was clearly annoyed.
