The competition among Chelsea's goalkeepers is fierce as they have Jorgensen, Djordje Petrovic, Robert Sanchez and now Penders on the books. With all these stoppers wanting to be the club's first-choice, there could be an exit or two in that area of the pitch.

Penders joined Genk's academy in 2018 and has since gone onto play 34 times for the club's reserve team, Jong Genk, before making his senior debut at the start of the current Pro League season, having started both of their matches so far.
