Lionesses star Katie Zelem has joined Angel City on a free transfer following her exit from Manchester United.

Angel City have announced the signing of Zelem on a free transfer. The former United captain has signed a contract until 2026, as she looks to embark on a new chapter. The 28-year-old has been capped 12 times by England and is a former captain of United.

Zelem previously played for Liverpool and Juventus before her move to United. She is a two-time WSL champion, with Liverpool, and also won Serie A with Juve. She helped guide United to promotion to the WSL, and was part of the Lionesses squad that reached the final of the Women's World Cup in 2023.
